ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೈಮಗ್ಗ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (KHTI), ಗದಗ, ಬೆತೆಗೇರಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ 1994 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
The Institute Offers three Years Diploma Course in Handloom Technology at par with Central Government Institutes viz., Indian Institute Handloom Technology, Varanasi , Salem , Jodhpur , Gauhati
The annual intake is as under : 22 state candidates
18 from other States, Tamil Nadu, Andrapradesh, Goa , Kerala, Pondichery
Eligibility : Candidates having passed SSLC in their 1st attempt and secured 45% of marks in aggregate and 60% in Science and Maths with English as compulsory subject. 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates. 5% weight age to the candidates passed P.U.C. Science.
Stipend is paid to selected candidates
Age Limit : As per norms : 15-21 years for general
15-23 years for SC/ST

Karnataka Handloom Weavers Advanced Training Institute has been established in 2004 by the Department of Handloom and Textiles.
Institute offers short term courses in Modern Handloom weaving, Design and Printing and Dyeing
Eligibility :Handloom weavers covered by Co-Op. Societies, Karnataka Handloom Development Corporation and unorganized handloom weavers from Karnataka State .
Facilities : (a) Residential accommodation is available
(b) Stipend shall be paid during the training period
Age Limit : 18 to 45 years
How to apply :Applications shall be submitted to District Officers of the Handloom and Textiles or the Secretary of the concerned Co-Op. Societies.
